Well, it has been a while since I updated the site – I took a bit of a break after the summer. In November of 2024, another friend of mine, John, of mine passed along the named of a paint and body guy that does beautiful work (spoiler alert: he does FANTASTIC work). It turns out that John drives by Monty’s shop every day on his way to/from work, so if I wanted to use Monty, John would be happy to drop off the parts to get painted.
I reached out to Monty and was immediately impressed with the guy. I asked if he’d be interested in trying his hand at a scooter. He said he had never worked on one before but was willing to have a go. Done deal. John dropped off the body parts and Monty set off to work. I pick them up tomorrow, but wanted to share a sneak peak of the parts still in the paint booth. If anyone needs paint/body work in or around Aztec, NM, Monty is your guy!
I need to let the paint cure for a few more days before I start any serious work, so stay tuned for more updates!
